The Open Water Scuba Diver course is an entry-level certification course designed to give students the necessary skills to safely conduct open water dives without the direct supervision of an instructor. The course covers all the basic knowledge about equipment, physiology and the marine environment while training students to perform basic skills underwater.
There are two steps in the certification process. First you must complete your pool & classroom sessions with us. After learning the basics in the pool you will complete 4 Open Water dives. The Open Water dives can be taught by us locally in a lake near Edmonton, or we can take you to Nanaimo, BC and complete your Open Water dives in the beautiful waters off the British Columbia coast. Alternatively, once your pool and class sessions are complete, you can obtain a Global Referral from us and complete your Open Water dives in Hawaii, Mexico, Australia, or anywhere else in the world! Our Global Referrals are internationally recognized by ALL training organizations.
