Rescue Course

The rescue certification course is designed to develop the knowledge and skills to manage and execute diver rescues, in various situations, in a safe and effective manner. Students are taught skills such as how to perform buddy and self rescues, recognize and calm potential panic divers, search patterns for missing divers, dive site accident management and proper first aid for victims. This course involves one evening at the shop with 2 full days at a local lake.

Requirements: Hold an Advanced Diver certification OR have at least 40 open water dives, plus CPR and First Aid.

Includes: Textbook, class time, 2 days at local lake, home study, certification card
